Excellent for a large group

We stayed at the Hamptons Hinterland Retreat for our 25th anniversary and had guests from interstate and overseas stay with us as well. Everyone said it was the best holiday they had all had, we all had so much space yet plenty of places to gather.

This is an amazing property hosted by amazing people who care about the property and making the experience of staying there five stars.

Top notch house and pool. Very quiet. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Kitchen had it all. Everything is top quality. We will come back whenever we can!

Our stay was perfect even though a major storm had knocked out power for thousands of homes in the area before we arrived. The hosts sourced a large generator and had it running before we arrived. I know they did a lot behind the scenes to make it seem like a normal stay for us. They care a lot and it showed. We can’t thank them enough as this was the first time in four years we were able to get together with our three adult children and their partners. The house easily catered for us all.

We had 14 people in our group staying in the house and it was just simply amazing! With 10 young men (basketball team) in the group, there was lots of room for them to share rooms and plenty of activities for them to do between games. The pool was perfect and plenty of room for them to kick the footy & play cricket in between their games.

The kitchen had lots of room for us to prepare meals for the large group and the lounge room also had plenty of room for the group to sit and relax after hours.

Would highly recommend this house for any larger group wanting to stay together. We could not fault it in any way. Thank you Liz.

We were visiting Australia for the first time in years to see friends and family, as our clan in the US had grown through pandemic times.

Liz’s place was an absolutely beautiful, immaculate, classic home that provides more than we needed to be comfortable and host visitors over our 2 week stay, with loads of beds and a large kitchen and living space, perfect for entertaining.

The house is very well stocked and even though my over-zealous parents insisted on bringing kitchen appliances and sports equipment for our stay, almost everything we needed was already on site.

As for the kids they bounded back and forth between the field area for cricket and footy, to the very large pool area, and back to the house where there are TVs in several rooms to accommodate downtime.

I would highly recommend staying here and will note that Liz was very pleasant and communicative when we were getting in and getting settled. In my opinion worth the fee for a beautifully put together and unique stay.

Our family had to attend a wedding in the Gold Coast Hinterland and Liz and Andrew’s Airbnb was perfect for us all to gather before and after the wedding.

Hampton Hinterland Retreat was perfect for us all to find our own spot and chill with plenty of room.

We found the house a delightful escape, with a beautifully well equipped kitchen, great outdoor areas for BBQ and a place for little ones to run and burn off energy.

Communication between Liz and ourselves was a smooth process.
